Beste homestay waar we hebben geslapen. De familie is super en regelt alles voor je. Super aardige mensen, vooral hun dochter. Vertellen je veel over het land en alle gebruiken. Het eten bij de accommodatie was echt super. Ontbijt en diner gehad. Alles wordt zelfgemaakt door de familie en smaakt geweldig. Het huis zag er splinternieuw uit. De meest nieuwe accommodatie waar we hebben geslapen. Echt geweldig.

The location is really closed by the train station and the botanical garden. The rooms looks like a 5 star hotel even if it’s a guesthouse. Best warm water since we arrived in Sri Lanka. Super welcoming host family.

Чаминдэ, мой спаситель, буквально! Но пожалуй начну с начала. Мы въехали в чудесные апартаменты на втором этаже раньше времени, вечером на закате нас ожидало шоу перелёта многочисленной стаи летучих лисиц, которые каждый вечер совершают вояж из национального парка в Джунгли, мурашки это минимум.) Попадая в гости к этой чудесной семье ты попадаешь в цивилизацию, где все чисто и современно. Чаминдэ сразу отвёз нас на своём комфортабельном минивэне в магазин и даже не в один, пока мы не купили всё необходимое и даже не взял с нас денег за трансфер. На следующий день нам разрешили оставить все свои вещи(даже те что ещё не досушились) и забрать их аж вечером. И вот тут начались приключения, часть из нас купила билеты на поезд и уехала в другое направление, а мы вдвоём направились на автобусную остановку, оказалось, что нужного автобуса нет, тем временем подступала ночь, темнело, а темнеет на Шри-Ланке быстро и освещения никакого нет, так что мне становилось страшно! Но Чаминдэ пришёл на помощь, объяснил тук-тукеру по телефону куда нас привезти и уже от туда сам отвёз нас до заказанной машины, которую и помог нам заказать до следующего пункта. В общем это очень приятная семья, очень отличающаяся от большинства местных, дружелюбные, отзывчивые с идеальным британским английский. Очень рекомендую!!!!

Chaminda and his family were amazing hosts. The space was perfect and I had a lovely time. I was only supposed to stay for a few days but ended up rebooking 2 more times with Chaminda over the course of my trip! 10/10 would stay again.

We felt more than well at this fantastic host. The family is very friendly and gave us a super warm welcome and served the best tea we ever drank in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is clean and has a very exclusive and unique design. The rooms are big and have everything you need an even more. You will not miss anything. It’s nearby the botanical garden, but to get food you need a taxi/tuk tuk to get into the city of Kandy (approx 15-20 min). We really recommend this accommodation, if you also searching for a quite place compared to busy Kandy city.

Chaminda and his family are great hosts! He was quick to respond to all of our questions prior to arrival, and both him and his family were extremely welcoming and quickly got us situated with Peradeniya and Kandy. They also cooked us delicious home-cooked meals a few times! The place is modern and comfortable, conveniently located within walking distance to Teaching Hospital Peradeniya/University of Peradeniya. Safe neighbourhood as well.

We spend the Sinhala New Year in NEWLIFE apartment and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is very comfortable, impeccable clean and with lots of accessories. Mr. Chaminda and his family were very attentive and welcoming hosts. We loved the traditional Sri Lankan sweets and kiribath they offered to us and our children had a lot of fun with their lovely daughter. I highly recommend Mr. Chaminda’s place for families with children.
